Our Mission
The mission of the Al-Jisr Association for Communication and Educational Cooperation is to promote international volunteering in support of sustainable development, education, and solidarity. It achieves this by encouraging international cooperation programmes to contribute to and participate in its various activities, which primarily serve the educational and environmental fields.
Our goal is to contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals and the improvement of citizens' quality of life, as well as to welcome volunteers and integrate them into our work teams. We strive to organise educational and environmental projects in line with the association's philosophy, through partnerships and cooperation with international governmental and non-governmental organisations, in coordination with the relevant Moroccan authorities.
We are committed to contributing to the achievement of high-quality sustainable development for government agencies, associations and various organisations, while strictly adhering to the proposed objectives.
Our Goals
Volunteering Development
Actively participate in the development of volunteering and social work by setting goals, choosing the appropriate field, committing to work, communicating effectively, and cooperating with others.
Volunteer Promotion
Encourage and promote volunteering in all its forms in several ways, including: encouraging young people to participate in volunteering experiences, raising community awareness of the importance of volunteering, coordinating efforts with institutions and volunteer organisations, honouring volunteers and recognising their efforts, and highlighting the importance of volunteering in skills development and opportunity creation.
Education & Poverty Reduction
Promote non-formal education and contribute to poverty reduction through educational and social programmes.
Environmental Protection
Preserve the environment through concrete environmental protection measures.
Youth Engagement
Raise awareness among young people and involve them in solidarity and community development projects.
Active Citizenship
Promote participation and awareness of active citizenship among young people.
Cultural Heritage
Highlight the richness of Morocco's environmental and cultural heritage.
Poverty Awareness
Pay particular attention to the reality of poverty suffered by many inhabitants of the region, while seeking to establish links between different cultures around the world.
